Welcome to Camp David Retreat!
A Retreat Like No Other!
Camp David Retreat invites you to unplug from your devices and rediscover the joys of the outdoors. With a variety of activities, from swimming to pickleball to hiking to stories around the fire pit to amazing sunset views from the deck, you will come away with a renewed appreciation of nature and the simple pleasures of life.
Whether you’re here for a family reunion, a special occasion or celebration, a camp, club, or spiritual retreat, or a corporate event with your team, we offer a variety of activities and amenities that will make your stay enjoyable and give you the perfect venue for gathering, re-connecting, and making memories, while leaving you refreshed and relaxed!
The entire Retreat sleeps up to 28 guests. The Lodge and The Bunkhouse may be reserved together or booked separately. Event spaces are available for up to 60 and may be booked at hourly or daily rates. Contact us for booking options and details.

The Retreat is located at 4451 McGregor Lane in Dripping Springs, Texas, the gateway to the Texas Hill Country and The Wedding Capital of Texas®, just 25 minutes west of Austin.
We are 15 minutes from Mercer Street in downtown Dripping Springs, 45 minutes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) and just over an hour from San Antonio International Airport (SAT).

our history
Founder and Owner, and the "David" in Camp David Retreat, David Jones's long career as a Real Estate and Business Broker, in addition to owning a large Commercial Real Estate Appraisal business, enabled him to spot a great opportunity when he first saw the property he developed into Camp David Retreat.
One of David's passions is the ability to see a property's current use and envision how it could become something different. This property was being used for a residence and a dog boarding facility, and when it came on the market David saw a new way to utilize the beautiful 10 acres as a retreat setting. Inspired by his now-grown children who seemed to always be "bored" with family vacations, he wanted a way to revive old memories and create new ones - a place for families to gather where no one in the family, no matter what age or inclination, was bored - all while enjoying the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. Camp David Retreat was born!
